About Ka\u015f<\/h2>

Ka\u015f is a small coastal town with a big personality, located on one of the most beautiful stretches of the Mediterranean, in the west of Antalya. With its turquoise bays, bougainvillea-lined streets, views of the Greek island of Meis, and its wonderfully relaxed pace, Ka\u015f is one of those places where you quickly begin to feel at home. You can start your day by the sea, spend the afternoon walking among ancient ruins, and end the evening wandering through the colourful streets of the Old Town.<\/p>\n

A Brief History of Ka\u015f<\/h2>

Modern-day Ka\u015f was built on and around the ancient Lycian city of Antiphellos. That is why history here is not hidden away in a separate archaeological site; it is part of everyday life. The ancient theatre overlooking the sea, the King\u2019s Tomb in Uzun \u00c7ar\u015f\u0131, the rock-cut tombs, and the ruins scattered around the town are some of the best examples. Walking through Uzun \u00c7ar\u015f\u0131 and suddenly coming across a Lycian sarcophagus that is around 2,400 years old feels completely normal in Ka\u015f. This connection between the past and the present is one of the details that makes Ka\u015f different from other coastal towns.<\/p>\n

    How to Get to Ka\u015f<\/h2>

    Dalaman Airport is generally the closest airport to Ka\u015f. The journey usually takes around 2 to 2.5 hours, depending on traffic and the route. Antalya Airport is approximately 200 kilometres from Ka\u015f, with a journey time of around 3 to 3.5 hours. We can help arrange private transfers from both airports.
